A Limited Edition Model from the Popular Bag Azuma Line is Now Available!

Limited edition linings woven with a camellia kasuri pattern will be available from Azuma!

Inspired by the Azuma bag, the prototype of the Japanese bag, the Azuma tote bag is finished in smooth sheepskin.
A simple yet chic design with a neat look. It is a versatile item that can be worn with denim, dresses, to the office, to parties, and from day to night.

Now, a limited edition model “Azuma/Tsubaki” will be released with a textile lining featuring a dignified camellia tree woven into a beautiful indigo ground.

The camellia, a native of Japan, is described in the Chronicles of Japan and the Kojiki (Records of Ancient Matters) as a “noble flower” and “holy flower” that was revered as a tree of good fortune among the nobility of the Heian period. It is also said to be a “symbol of vitality” because of its fresh leaves and glossy flowers in the wintry season, and has been loved by the Japanese people since time immemorial as an auspicious flower.

The limited edition “Azuma/Tsubaki” will be available from 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18. Please check it out.
